With several years of experience in the film industry, actress Karen Abercrombie shared a little of her testimony of faith when talking about the launch of another work, the series “Eleanor’s Bench”.
Karen’s role in the series follows the same teaching principle transmitted by the movie “Quarto de Guerra”, where she also played the role of Clara. In production, trust in God through persistence and personal dedication stood out as lessons learned.
Speaking of this, the Christian actress recalled that many end up feeling distant from God because they no longer trust their performance, believing that their failures change the way God loves them.
“There are people who have fallen away from their faith when things are getting tough. Everything has been hard and it’s getting harder, and people are just feeling like God is distant or that He doesn’t care anymore when in fact He does,” she told the Christian Post.
“But we live on Earth, it’s a fallen place, and we’re going to have our struggles,” said the actress. Karen recalled that God, unlike human beings, does not condition his love on our works, but on what we are as creatures, which is why He sent Jesus Christ, in order to prove his ransom purpose.
“God is an unchanging God. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He always looks at us with a love that never changes. He couldn’t love any of us one drop more. So that’s why He freely gave His only Son, the pure and imperfect Lamb, for us. We are going back and forth. We are flawed. But He is ever constant.” it says the artist.
