EThis Thursday, the mayoress of Maturín, Ana Fuentes, announced the schedule of activities for this Holy Week 2023.

The local president, in the company of priests from different parishes in the municipality, stated that they have activity programs to renew spiritual boots, with the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“We must rescue religious values ​​and support these activities that unite Maturinese families,” added the municipal manager.

The programming starts this Friday, March 31, with the educational Stations of the Cross, with the participation of different schools in the municipality. Also the holy Stations of the Cross from the Santa Cruz church to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen cathedral, where you can enjoy this important religious culture.

Sports and recreational activities will also be carried out in Boquerón de Amana, in the Rancho Texas spa, by the Municipal Sports Institute and the Municipal Youth Institute.

The mayor also detailed that a community fair of the curd will be held in the park La Guaricha.
