In the two months that I have been Minister of Industry and Tourism, I have taken on firsthand the great challenge facing the automotive sector: moving towards connected and sustainable mobility. This is a true revolution in the more than one hundred years of existence of this sector. This process of change is occurring in a complex context of problems arising from a pandemic, the war in Ukraine and, now, the conflict in the Middle East and the Red Sea, the impact of which on international trade remains to be seen.
