After knowing the resolution of the Complaints Commission of the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM) and the imposition of precautionary measures requested by the National Action Party (PAN), Morena announced that they will challenge this decision made as soon as they are notified.

After last Tuesday they denounced an attempt at censorship by Santiago Taboada, who together with the PAN requested the organization to impose precautionary measures so that he and the party are not related to the case of the “real estate cartel”, the Morenoist leadership said they were disappointed by this resolution.
Eduardo Santillán, representative of Morena in the IECM, explained that this resolution not only means the application of these precautionary measures, but also represents the beginning of the procedure to determine whether the act of “electoral slander” denounced by Taboada was committed.
Santillan also mentioned that as part of this decision, those accused in this resolution must refrain from making comments or publications on social networks of a “slanderous” nature against the candidate of the Va X CDMX collation, as well as from eliminating some publications that have been previously carried out.

For her part, Clara Brugada, candidate for Morena, PT and PVEM for the head of Government of Mexico City, denounced that the local body is not acting in an even manner, as she pointed out that the party has already reported some irregularities found throughout of the campaign and that the Complaints Commission has not yet issued any resolution on these disagreements.
At the end of the conference, the members of Morena mentioned that they will not request precautionary measures against Santiago Taboada after he accused Clara Brugada during the second Chilango debate of profiting from pipes and the issue of water in Iztapalapa.
