The Israel Police commented a short time ago (Friday) on the various publications in the media that they allegedly knew that the boy who was stabbed at the school in Rehovot at the beginning of the week was threatened, and clarified that the police did not receive a report or complaint from the welfare and education authorities in the city prior to the incident.

They also emphasized that the police summoned the relevant welfare officials and education officials to the offices of the High Court, as part of the investigation of the suspicion of not reporting to the police regarding previous events, in this context.

The police stated that as long as the welfare agents continue to avoid coming to the police according to the summons, the investigators of the IMR intend to detain them in accordance with the needs of the investigation and according to the provisions of the law.
