We don’t have such a saint as St. John of Rila, whose work brought together so many generations of Bulgarians and to this day his work remains in such a way. When John of Rila came here, the Rila Desert was uninhabited, uninhabited, wild. This is what Patriarch Daniil told journalists in the Rila Monastery.
