“Loko” (Sf) came out with an official position, through which they want the referee Georgi Kabakov not to receive any more appointments for matches of the “railwaymen”. The Plovdiv resident has one for their visit to CSKA 1948 on April 15.
Here is what they write from “Nadezhda”:
“The management of FC “Lokomotiv Sofia 1929” AD expresses its disagreement with the appointment of the head referee of Mr. Georgi Kabakov for our meeting of the 29th round of the Efbet League with CSKA 1948. Probably many of you remember the second semi-final of the Bulgarian Cup last year when we were damaged by the awarding of a non-existent penalty, spared red cards to the opponent, which prevented us from possibly reaching the final of the tournament, this is the place to say that we have absolutely no complaints about our opponent in the next game.
Several times after that, Mr. Kabakov was appointed as the VAR arbitrator at our meetings, and by chance or not always his decisions were to the detriment of Lokomotiv Sofia. We are all aware that Kabakov is the best Bulgarian referee and has proven himself on an international scale, but we are also convinced that he has some personal connection to our club. We would like to state that we do not wish Mr. Kabakov to be appointed to any more meetings of FC Lokomotiv Sofia 1929 AD.
