Recently, cases of fire have been recurring in the Guinean capital, Conakry. The latest case is the one which consumed a large part of Enipra on Thursday night, in the country’s largest trading center, Madina. This other fire caused considerable damage.
In the wake of this tragedy, François Lounceny Fall, president of the UNPG, sent a message of compassion to the victims.
“Following the fire that occurred yesterday evening in the Madina Grand Market, we extend our sincere compassion to all the victims for the significant damage that occurred on this occasion.
We pray to Allah the Good and Merciful to put an end to this black series which is affecting our country,” the leader of the National Union of Patriots of Guinea (UNPG) wrote on his Facebook page.
For now, although the fire has been brought under control by firefighters, its origins still remain unknown.
