We have found where the problem is, but it will remain inside. Many things will change, not only in terms of sport and technology. Many things need to change in CSKA and I am convinced that this thing will change.
This is what CSKA coach Alexander Tomas said when he was officially presented to the media.
The specialist already made his debut at the head of the “armies” in the 0:1 loss against “Botev” (Plovdiv) before the break for the national teams.
“It is a great honor and pleasure for me to stand before you as the coach of the biggest team in Bulgaria. I’m home! It’s a privilege for me! 11 years ago, this was our goal – to take over the beloved team and take it to where CSKA deserves.
My team and I will stop at nothing. We have proven over the years how we work. The coaching staff must be united and be able to show in the dressing room what a family is. We have built teams at a much lower level than CSKA. We know what CSKA is and what situation it is in at the moment. We are not bothered by this,” Alexander Tomasz began.
We will not go back and make excuses. I know how important selection is, I won’t talk about this thing. I will not make excuses with any colleague before me. I care about the future, not the past. What CSKA is today is thanks to yesterday. What will be tomorrow is thanks to tomorrow. There is no yesterday, there is today and from now on,” Tomas said.
The specialist also spoke about the new additions to CSKA: “All six players we brought in are not 100% ready, which is normal. Everyone has to subdue their own ego for the sake of the team. CSKA should be a family and it will be. We will have difficult and good times, we must be ready for anything. CSKA cannot represent in this way. Here I am assertive, brave and responsible! There is no time in CSKA! We don’t worry about pulling out chestnuts with our bare hands. This is our life, especially for me.”
Alexander Tomas explained that the last six new transfers were agreed upon with him and his assistants: “After the match with Botev, me and my team were in the office from morning to night. Each one of these 6 footballers is attracted with our categorical assessment. We work in a way that the players arrive, then they reach my team and the last word is mine. Every single one of these players is attracted with my yes. Which player I wanted will stay at the club. A lot of information is getting out and this thing shouldn’t happen. Every Monday we will do an operative, they are distributed. CSKA is an institution and every single day we have to give real information. This thing will happen from now on.
