In certain circles, white wines from Sydrhône have had a tarnished reputation as being heavy on alcohol, opulent and without significant acidity. But that no longer lasts, wine expert Thomas Rydberg believes, and the tendency is for the green grapes to gain more and more prominence in an area which is probably best known for full-bodied red wines.
