Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya football coach, Wissam Rizk, confirmed that his team is looking forward to appearing better against Al-Minaa, indicating that the Falcons team has all the elements of success to compete for the title of the current season.
“Our team performed well against Al-Kahraba and was close to winning the three points through possession and field control, but the lack of focus prevented us from translating the opportunities into goals against our opponent, who played with a defensive formation,” Rizk said in a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper, followed by the (INA), on Thursday.
“The technical staff focused in the training sessions on some points in order to correct the mistakes that appeared in the match against Al-Kahraba to avoid repeating them in the future, as they are betting on the team returning to the right path starting from the next round, in which the Blues will be more harmonious,” Rizk added, noting that “the Falcons are determined to appear in a better way in the second round, as a difficult match awaits them against Al-Minaa, and they are hopeful of achieving victory, which is of utmost importance on the moral level.”
Rizk added, “Al-Jawiya has all the elements of success to compete for the title this season with the presence of distinguished local and foreign names, stressing the role of Al-Jawiya fans, describing them as the main supporter and player number 12.”
