Miller Salazar, president of Macará, gave details about the situation with the company that manages the television rights (GOLTV) and the management of LigaPro.

In an interview with colleagues from Radio La Red, the head of Macará fired against the Uruguayan company and also pointed to LigaPro due to the delicate situation that most Serie A clubs are going through.

Regarding the situation with GOLTV, Salazar mentioned: “There have been many offers and many failures to comply, and things cannot continue like this. We have drawn up budgets, but the situation is unsustainable and has to end. We cannot complicate things any further at an institutional and even personal level.”

“The situation of several Ecuadorian football teams is dramatic. On Monday, 12 teams met to look for alternatives. We have believed in GolTV but we have reached the limit and we need immediate solutions.”

Regarding the management of LigaPro and the possibility that the tournament will no longer be managed by this organization, the president of Macará said: They are looking at us badly because we asked for information about the management of LigaPro. “They see us as the ringleaders of a revolt and that is not the case. The leaders do not know how LigaPro is run and we want them to give us all the information.”

“We have not talked about ending LigaPro, But we are looking for alternatives for the future of Ecuadorian football because we cannot continue like this.”

According to several leaders, the company that manages TV rights has a debt of 6 months with the Ecuadorian clubs.
