The interim coach of OM spoke after his team’s draw (3-3) against Ajax.
Jacques Abardonado (OM coach, after the 3-3 draw in Amsterdam ) : «I’m proud, yes. Even if I’m still a little unsatisfied, because we could have gone for victory. But we have to take our hats off to the players. We conceded the goals quite quickly but looking at the scoreboard, I saw that there was time and I wasn’t worried. I knew that the players were going to get going again and that we could score the goal that would free us. It was a crazy match but I also think we had control. We didn’t panic with the ball.
During our first session, I felt a lot of desire and determination. The words arrived, we exchanged. Then it was the players who were on the pitch but I wasn’t worried. Even at 2-0, we still had time. They had the right reaction and behavior, we have to be proud of them tonight.»
