“We honor the general”: Mr. Mitsotakis awarded Otto Rehagel

The German coach who led the Greek National Team to its conquest Euro 2004the prime minister awarded on Monday Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In the context of the awarding of the Gazzetta Awards, Mr Otto Rehagel he was honored for the progress in Portugal’s stadiums, as well as for the progress of the National Team in the 2010 World Cup.

“Now that I have received the award, I wished the prime minister to make smart decisions like we did in Portugal in 2004. When you are in charge somewhere, you have to make such decisions that everyone is satisfied”, said the German, during the award.

Mrs. Mitsotakis: “To offer fans quality and safety”

“At this interesting juncture, I want to wish that these awards coincide with the opening of the stadiums, with different rules than those we lived and experienced in the past. It is a collective effort, we will need everyone’s help, but I believe the time has come to take a big leap and offer all the fans quality and safety, as befits a truly European championship”, added Mr. Mitsotakis.
