The Hope Base it’s located in Foca Point of Esperanza Bayin the Trinidad Peninsulaapproximately 1,100 kilometers from Ushuaia already some 3,200 from Buenos Aires. The average temperature in the area is -5° C with historical minimums of up to -30° C.

For its part, The Belgrano II Base is the southernmost base in the world located on dry landand is located on the frozen mountain peak Country Bertrabs, in Vahsel Bay, on the Confin coast, in the Land of Coats.
