“We transform sculptures and photographs into unique tokens”

There is a bit of Italy in the digitized art revolution or in ‘Non Fungible Token’ (Nft). The former artist and performer Andrea Prince, after having founded Laserman Industries, a company that operates in the entertainment and digital technologies sector, joined forces with the historic VIP agent Lele Mora and with Leonardo Terzulli and entered the crypto art to transform sculptures, photographs and videos into unique and indivisible tokens. Born in 2017, NFTs are digital certificates that use, just like cryptocurrencies, a blockchain system to certify the ownership of any physical object reproduced in the digital world.

A sector, that of the NFT, in which the big-tech greats have shown interest, from Elon Musk to Jack Dorsey, Tesla boss and Twitter administrator respectively. After Musk’s public endorsement and the NFT auction of the first tweet in history, more and more people have started to take an interest in the subject. Since then, auction house Christie’s has sold the NFT of a work of art by artist Beeple for $ 69 million, and entertainment giants such as NBA and various sports clubs have begun to focus more and more on interaction with fans through the collection of irreplaceable tokens. According to the CNBC portal, the NFT market moved 2 billion dollars in the first four months of 2021 alone. “We are in the pipeline on one of the most important NFT projects in history – declared Andrea Prince – We are confident that this time too, as history teaches, Italian excellence will make a difference in the world”.
