DECRYPTAGE – After a year of “record” growth, the boss of the parent company of Free is doubling his ambitions for his group.
For Iliad, the years of lead are in the rearview mirror. In the midst of a growth crisis four years ago, accusing a haemorrhage of subscribers on both landline and mobile after good years, the telecom operator is moving forward again and looking to the future with relish. Despite the geopolitical context and the energy crisis, the parent company of Free published this Thursday results and “record” growth, with an organic increase in its turnover of 6.9% over the past year, to 8.4 billion euros. Fixed, mobile… the group also says it is having one of its best commercial years in ten years in France, recruiting 255,000 subscribers on one, and 607,000 net subscribers on the other.
