We all want to return “Botev” (South) to the map of Europe. This was stated by the head coach of the team, Dusan Kerkez, before tomorrow’s home match against “Maribor” (Slovenia) from the European tournaments. He expressed his satisfaction that the foundation of the team from last season, led by the captain Ivelin Popov, has been preserved and he hopes that the new additions will quickly join the team. The Serbian specialist added that all the players in the squad realize the importance of the upcoming two meetings with the Slovenians and will do their best to please the fans and achieve success.
“We have our chances against Maribor and I hope the boys will fully reveal their potential against the strong opponent,” said Kerkez.
