“We are very happy to see that more and more tourists from all over the world are visiting China, which is also becoming a hit on the Internet. According to the latest official data, 14,635,000 foreigners entered the country in the first half of the year, which represents an increase of 152.7% on an annual basis. Of these, 8.542 million entered China through visa-free policies for various countries, an increase of 190.1% compared to last year. With the continuous expansion of the list of countries to which various visa-free policies apply, and the optimization of measures to facilitate people-to-people exchanges, more and more foreign tourists are much easier to come to China.”
“In the second half of this year, the number of foreigners arriving in China will continue to increase. We will continue to give new impetus to the world with our new development in an open way. We welcome friends from all over the world to visit China,” the spokesperson commented.
