Cancun, QR, June 26, 2023.- As every Monday, from very early hours, the Municipal President, Ana Paty Peralta, led the ceremony of honors to the Flag and confirmed the program “Educar es de todos” in the María del Socorro Puerto Zumárraga elementary school, where she pointed out that it is very important to carry out these actions in the different schools of the city, in order to reinforce civic values, to sing the Mexican National and Quintana Roo anthems, with much love and a great desire to be proud of the roots.
Upon being received with much applause, the First Municipal Authority said she was very happy to attend the educational establishment and work with the “little ones”, to whom she mentioned that they have a decent school, where they can learn every day, train as people and develop their personal relationships.
Likewise, he greeted and thanked the fathers and mothers present who accompanied their children in these activities; In the same way, he congratulated the Parents’ Committee for being aware of the works and maintenance carried out in the educational institution, without failing to name the teachers and teachers for all their support and always giving the best for the little ones.
“I ask you to take great care of your school, because it is yours, so that you can learn a lot, dream big and start a bright future. Each one of you is unique and unrepeatable, and together we can contribute something here to our school and also to our city. We are going to unite to continue working together and united for education, for the future of the more than 300 students who are here and who are also the future of their families and of our beautiful city”, he highlighted.
In greeting the teachers, he indicated that the “Educar es de Todos” program is carried out by the Ministry of Social and Economic Development, which consists of contributing to the improvement of clean environments and healthy habits of students through health talks and hygiene, as well as physical activities provided by municipal agencies such as DIF Benito Juárez, Coordination of Libraries, the H. Fire Department, Crime Prevention, Specialized Group for Attention to Family and Gender Violence (GEAVIG) and Institute of Culture and the Arts.
On the other hand, Municipal President Ana Paty Peralta, congratulated sixth-year students Ramsés Emmanuel Canales Díaz and Yeiri Shecid Aguilar Pinto for being the most outstanding students in the school area and who participated in the 2023 Children’s Knowledge Olympiad.
Finally, at this event, the Regional Director of Social Development Programs in Benito Juárez and Puerto Morelos, Willian Jiménez Miguel, informed that the “The School is Ours” program of the Ministry of Well-being of the Government of Mexico closed at this school. , who invested 600,000 pesos in different works and maintenance for the benefit of the students of that educational institution, the parents participated in verifying that the works were done in a timely manner.
