The Russia-Crimea bridge was damaged in a truck bombing last week. Russian authorities said that 3 people died. In response to that bombing, Russia has launched a series of missile attacks on various Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kiev, over the past week.
A series of attacks by Russian drones near the railway station in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, during the morning rush hour, set fire to several places and damaged several residential buildings.
There was no immediate word on the number of people killed in the drone strikes. A week ago, similar to the early morning Russian missile attack in Kiev, today a similar drone attack has taken place.
The US Department of State in Kiev said on its Twitter page:
This morning was a very bold and reprehensible attack against civilians and civilian infrastructure. We admire the strength and resilience of the people of Ukraine. We will stand with you no matter how long it takes.
