Monza Park, Royal Gardens and Viale Cavriga closed from the afternoon of Tuesday 16 April due to the weather alert with strong winds issued for the day. Mayor Paolo Pilotto signed the ordinance, which also extends to the two city cemeteries, until “the volleys continue”. Viale Cavriga also closes to vehicular traffic.

“The decision was taken following the yellow alert statement issued by the Regional Civil Protection – which foresees potential wind gusts exceeding 60 km/h, above the safety threshold of 40 km/h – and to the measurements carried out through the Park’s anemometer”, explains a note from the city hall.

A Villasanta the provision concerns the Park of Villa Camperio. A Vimercate all parks closed.
