During this period, humidity is expected to enter from both coasts, generating intermittent cloudy periods alternating with periods of few clouds. There could also be drizzle and rain accompanied by electrical activity, mainly during the afternoon and night. In addition, a slight increase in atmospheric pressure was reported, which will increase the speed of the wind coming from the north.
The clouds and cloudiness of Friday, July 12, are attributed to the Eastern Wave No. 9which leaves remnants of humidity in the territory. During the afternoon, an increase and development of cloudiness is expected in the volcanic chain, Bocacosta, some sectors of the Central Plateau, the West, the Northern Transversal Strip and the Caribbean, without ruling out other sectors of the country. Given these weather conditions, it is recommended to take the necessary precautions, such as avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun, since the low cloudiness during the morning and midday could cause heat strokes.

In addition, mass movements such as landslides, slides, avalanches and mudflows of moderate magnitude could occur, mainly in San Marcos, Sololá, Chimaltenango, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and Jutiapa.
