Chennai: The Chennai Meteorological Center has informed that there is a possibility of widespread rain and heavy rain at some places for 4 days in Tamil Nadu.
In a press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department: Yesterday (September 11), the deep low pressure area that prevailed in the Bay of Bengal adjacent to the Andhra coastal areas has strengthened into a low pressure area and is prevailing in the southern Odisha areas. It may weaken into a low pressure area during the next 24 hours.
Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Tamil Nadu districts, Puduwai and Karaikal today. Heavy rain is likely at a few places over hilly areas of Nilgiris and Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni and Dindigul districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 27-28 degrees Celsius.
