He Mexico City Water System (SACMEX), forecasts minimum temperatures of 14°C and a maximum of 23°C, with rain in the afternoon and evening.

He National Weather Service predicts:

  • Very heavy rains with intense periods (75 to 150 mm): Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guerrero.
  • Heavy rain with very heavy showers at times (50 to 75 mm): Jalisco, Colima, Michoacan, Guanajuato and the State of Mexico.
  • Intervals of showers with occasional heavy rain (25 to 50 mm): Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Queretaro, Hidalgo, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Mexico City, Morelos, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
  • Intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm): Baja California Sur, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosi.
  • Isolated showers (0.1 to 5 mm): Baja California.

Heavy rains could cause flooding, mudslides and flooding, as well as an increase in river and stream levels.

  • Wind with gusts of 40 to 60 km/h: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Queretaro, Hidalgo and the State of Mexico.

The recommendations given by SACMEX:

  • Go out with an umbrella or waterproof clothing
  • Use reflectors if you ride a motorcycle or bicycle
  • Circulate on main avenues or highways
  • Be careful on overpasses, remember that in these areas the water tends to stagnate.
  • Do not cross streets and avenues if you see water currents
  • Remove trash from the drains
  • Keep your documents at hand
  • Do not leave appliances connected in areas susceptible to flooding
  • Report to SACMEX oa Locatel any accumulation of water
