The northeastern interior of the peninsula and the eastern Cantabrians will become cloudy and rainfall will move north-east. The afternoon development will produce clouds in mountainous environments as well as areas east of the North Plateau and South Plateau.
Throughout the next week, from 13 to 19 May, an Atlantic circulation is expected over the peninsula, “with the passage of fronts affecting the northern third, leading to cloudy skies and possible showers in the northern third, with occasional thunderstorms in the afternoon. “Thunderstorm will occur and light rain will prevail with cloudy or intermittent spells over rest areas,” AEMET specified.
On Monday, abundant rainfall is expected in Galicia, the Cantabrian Sea, the Upper Ebro, the Iberian system and the Pyrenees.
