While there are chances of several rounds of heavy rain in some areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Almora, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Heavy rain is also likely in the plains along with the hilly districts.

Rain wreaks havoc in UP, 11 people died

The department has also alerted the local administration in Gorakhpur, Siddharth Nagar and Gonda districts, where the water level of the river is flowing close to the danger mark.
