An orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in Dehradun and surrounding areas today. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Pauri, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar. Heavy rain is expected in these areas till 30 and 31 July.
