However, atmospheric pressure could drop in the middle of the week, bringing with it light winds from the south, with a probability of increasing again towards the weekend.

On Monday, August 5, cloudy weather is expected during the afternoon and evening, with rain and electrical activity, especially in the south, center of the country, and in the western regions, the Northern Transversal Strip and southern Petén.

From August 6 to 8, a temporary decrease in rainfall is expected, with a warm environment and high temperatures in Petén, Franja Transversal del Norte, Izabal, northern Valles de Oriente, Central Altiplano and Occidente, during the afternoon. Environmental conditions could become more conducive for the development of the system later in the week as it moves across the western Caribbean Sea or the southern Gulf of Mexico.
