by time news

Météo France had announced snow, there was some. In Lozère, where it fell several centimeters in a few hours, motorists even found themselves trapped on the A75 motorway this Sunday. In the department, the situation is even “delicate” on a large half of the main roads, indicates the road information site inforoute48.fr.

According to Midi Libre, 18 centimeters of snow fell at the air level of Lozère, in the town of Monts-Verts, in the north of the department, on the border with Cantal. Traffic was even temporarily suspended there, the newspaper said.

Videos and photos posted on social networks show the traffic difficulties encountered by motorists, with very reduced visibility. On a video filmed on the A75, one of the highest in Europe, we can see dozens of vehicles stationary.

The firefighters did not report, at 3:30 p.m., any intervention in connection with the snow in the whole department.
