Weather remains unusually mild for season
The unusually warm temperatures will remain in the coming days. Changeable weather and rain showers are not expected until the end of the week.
After an unusually warm turn of the year, according to the German Weather Service, the weather will remain mild in the coming days despite some low-lying areas. The temperatures of 6 to 12 degrees expected on Tuesday are a drop in the last measured values, but are still too mild for January, it said. It will remain largely dry, and sunny sections are also possible, according to the meteorologists.
On Wednesday, a low with continued mild temperatures will bring rain, and the wind will also pick up. Even at low altitudes, strong to stormy gusts must be expected. For Thursday, the meteorologists expect changeable weather with rain showers and short breaks. The temperatures remain little wintry with maximum values between 7 and 13 degrees.
