From rock, urban and fusion music to Amazigh, Gnaoua and Aïta sounds, the festival has strengthened the cultural identity of Casablanca, the press release states, before adding that the stages of the Toro space and the Place des Nations-Unies vibrated to the rhythm of local and national talents, offering unforgettable moments of sharing and discovery.
“The success of this edition of the WeCasablanca Festival demonstrates Casablanca’s commitment to promoting cultural diversity and encouraging artistic innovation,” notes Mohamed Jouahri, general director of Casablanca Events & Animation, quoted in the press release.
“We are proud to have offered the public a unique experience, shining the spotlight on the talents of our city and our country,” he said, before noting that “The festival has not only celebrated music, but also strengthened the links between the different cultural communities of Casablanca.”
According to the organizers, the WeCasablanca Festival continues to position itself as a major festival as evidenced by the success of this edition which stands out for the originality of the artistic and cultural programming, which celebrates both the youth and the cosmopolitanism of Casablanca.
