The Entrepreneurship Summit. The aim was to provoke a meeting created with the aim of connecting between startups, entrepreneurs, companies, investors and entities linked to entrepreneurship and innovation.
At this event, through workshops, presentations, round tables and other types of dynamics, some of the main challenges faced by startups in the early stages of life, as well as in the first growth and expansion phases, were addressed. The focus was also placed on the women’s field, on international connections and on promoting bilateral meetings between investors and local startups. Young people also played a leading role with actions that sought to promote an entrepreneurial culture.
In the afternoon, the Plenary Hall of the City Council hosted the meeting ‘Scientific Women of Yesterday and Today’, organized by Fomento San Sebastián in collaboration with Emakumeak Zientzian. Attendees were able to listen to the reflections of scientists Elixabete Rezabal, Amaia Iturrospe, Raquel Ruiz Hernández, Ana Álvarez Yenes and Olatz Pérez de Viñaspre, who explained the research in which they are immersed and also paid tribute to some of the great women scientists of the history.
Another of the focal points of WeekINN was the Reale Arena on a Champions League night. And before the match between Real Sociedad and Red Bull Salzburg, an eSports competition organized by EA Sports took place in the Fan Zone LG Gaming Room, in which the two-time league and cup champion, @z10kilian and the team content creation of the Royal Society gave some clues about this innovative entertainment, which has more followers every day.
