The death toll in a West Bengal train crash has risen to five.
The Bikaner-Guwahati express train derailed in West Bengal this evening (Thursday). Five people were killed and 45 were injured in the crash.
Prime Minister Modi posted on his Twitter page about the accident:
“I spoke to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishna about the accident. The injured must recover quickly. ”
President Ramnath Govind and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu also said that the injured should recover soon.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Railway Board Chairman rush to the spot.
