Windies Dominate England in Second T20 Victory
The West Indies cricket team secured their second consecutive victory in the five-match T20 series against England, with a ten-run win at the Granada National Cricket Stadium.
After winning the toss, England chose to bat first, but were restricted to 166 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Despite Sam Curran’s valiant effort of scoring 50 runs in 32 balls, England fell short of their target.
Batting first, the Windies put up a strong total of 176 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Brandon King was the star of the show, scoring an explosive 82 runs not out in 52 balls, with the support of captain Rowman Powell’s 50 runs off 28 balls.
In the bowling department, Alzari Joseph and Aqeel Hossain stood out, taking three and two wickets respectively.
The Windies now lead the series 2-0, with the third T20 scheduled for December 16. The team will be looking to continue their dominant performance and seal the series with another win.
