Ireland toured the West Indies and played 3 ODIs in a series. After the West Indies won the first ODI, Ireland won the second ODI, which was delayed due to the Corona threat.
In the last ODI to decide the outcome of the series, Ireland won the toss and elected to field.
West Indies opener Shay Hope, who batted first, scored a superb fifty. He was dismissed for 53 runs. Another opener, Justin Greaves (12), Nicholas Pooran (9), Brooks (1), Roston Chase (19) and captain Pollard (3) were all out for short runs. In the back row Jason Holder was in charge and batting Audi scored 44 runs. Akhil Hussain (23) and Odin Smith (20) were the main contributors as the West Indies scored 212 runs.
Ireland’s top-order batsman Paul Sterling (44) batted in charge, and Andy McBrain (59) and Harry Dector (52) put on 213 for the second wicket as Ireland won the ODI series 2-1. .
Ireland beat West Indies 2-1 on home soil to win the ODI series 2-1 on home soil.
