by time news

American Apple customers are anticipating the release of the iPhone 14 and the new features that it will bring.

In this context, reliable technical websites have published recent leaks about new specifications and changes that may be included in the “Apple” phones of the “iPhone 14” series, which are scheduled to be launched next September.

It was reported that Apple aims to reduce its dependence on the South Korean company Samsung in the manufacture of OLED panels for iPhone screens, as the American company has been buying these panels since 2017.

According to the famous screen industry expert, Ross Young, only one model of the “iPhone 14” series will have a screen made by “Samsung”.

As for the “Mashable” technical website, it indicated that “Samsung” will be the only supplier of “iPhone 14 Pro” screens of 6.1 inches this year, with the “Pro Max” model measuring 6.7 inches, with a joint supply between “Samsung” and “L.” J”.

Also, BOE, one of the world’s leading screen manufacturers, also produced both “LCD” and “OLED” screens, securing 20-25% of the orders for the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 series.

On the other hand, the leaks indicated that the “iPhone 14” phones may include a satellite connection feature to send and receive “SOS” emergency messages only in the event that cellular communication is not available.

In this context, Mashable revealed that the iPhone 14 will contain a Qualcomm X60 modem that will allow smartphones to communicate via satellite.

The “iPhone 14” phones are scheduled to come with some fundamental changes, including the absence of a “mini” version, and the addition of a 48-megapixel camera sensor.

Meanwhile, other leaks revealed that the “Lightning” connectors of the new “iPhone 14” devices will be upgraded, which can support “USB 3.0” speed.

If these predictions are confirmed, they may disappoint people who hope that Apple will move to the global “USB Type-C” standard for future “iPhone” devices, as it has done with some high-end iPad models, according to reports.

It has also been widely rumored that Apple plans to completely drop ports and fully wireless connectivity for future iPhone models.
