According to the American CNN network, ‌Trevor​ Paul, a former explosive ordnance disposal technician in⁣ the ⁤US Army, identified the bomb as a small-diameter GBU-39, manufactured by⁢ Boeing. This precision munition is designed​ to attack⁤ strategically important ‍targets while minimizing collateral damage.

While ​acknowledging the precision of the weapon, weapons expert Chris⁣ Cobb Smith, a former British Army artillery ​officer, ⁣emphasized⁣ the inherent risks of using any ‍munition in a densely populated area.

The Director ⁢of ⁢the Supply Department of the ⁤Civil Defense Authority in ​Gaza, Muhammad Al-Mughair, reported that‌ the ​Israeli⁢ army used three⁤ deadly American missiles, the “MK-84” or “Mark 84,” weighing over two thousand pounds and reaching⁢ temperatures of ⁤7 ⁤thousand degrees, in the‌ attack on the ⁢Al-Tabi’in School and Mosque.
