Regarding the imposition of wearing the Hajj, Al-Sharaa explained, saying: “The Syrian problem is bigger than the issues you are asking about… The Syrian problem… was suffering from the fact that half of the people were displaced outside Syria, and were forcibly removed from their homes… thrown into bombs, barrels, and stupid missiles, and Syrian society It was subjected to more than 250 chemical attacks. Many of the Syrian society drowned in the seas while trying to escape and migrate to Europe. There are more important public issues. Much more than what we are talking about.”
He said: “These details that you are asking about are subject to the constitution and not people’s opinions. I hope for many things, but in the end, what the Syrians agree on, in terms of the law and the constitution, our mission is to implement, preserve and maintain.”
The BBC interviewer continued, saying: “Many are wondering about this issue, because you asked a woman to cover her head, as you know, when she wanted to take a picture with you, but the liberal Syrians said that “this position indicates oppression, and the religious Syrians object to the idea.” “Agreeing to take a photo with a woman you are not married to, so it is a controversial situation.”
Al-Shara responded by saying: “I did not force her, but this is my personal freedom. I like to imagine it in the way that suits me. I did not force her… This is different from the law of being the ruler of all countries, but in general there is a general culture that exists in this country that must be observed within the law, and this The matter is determined by the legal experts.”
