He gave the stolen jewels to the driver Venkatesan and sold the jewels for 20 lakh rupees. Venkatesan has given 9 lakh rupees as his share. It was also found that 350 grams of gold jewelery has been mortgaged in the name of the husband in the bank. The complaint also failed to mention clearly how much jewelery was looted as more jewelery money was seized than in the complaint.
