Vineeth Srinivasan starrer Mukundan Unni has been getting rave reviews from the audience since the day of its release. The film is made entirely in the dark humor genre and tells the story of Mukundan Unni, a lawyer who wants to be successful in life.
But Mukundan Unni has a criminal mind that deviates from the straight path and tries to get what he wants by any means. He uses his girlfriend, wife and friends for his own purposes. Robin is his poor friend who got his own life tangled in Mukundan Unni’s tangle.
Robin is a lawyer who manages petty cases and earns 800 rupees a day. Mukundan Unni takes Rob, who walks around with unwashed and unbrushed coat and pants and hair combed as if he is not clean, thinking that he needs a slave.
Among those who stood by Mukundan Unni, there was no one as sincere as Robin. Knowing that Mukundan is running a fraud scheme, Robin tries to make amends with him. But on the other hand Mukundan saw him as a mere slave just like Unniyawatte said. Robin was used as a convenience. He was never allowed to outgrow himself. He avoids when he knows that he is threatened.
Sudhi Kopa played Robin in the film. He’s done well with Robin’s laziness, frustration and sadness. Sudhi Koppa’s performance in the previous film Ilaveezhapoonchira was also praised. Now he is winning applause in Mukundan Unni too.
