What happened today, April 22, on the Mexico-Pachuca highway?

A road disorder broke out this morning Monday, 22 April in the busy Mexico-Pachuca HighwayState of Mexico, when a multiple crash caused chaos for dozens of motorists traveling in the area and left two people injured.

The incident, recorded around 06:00 hours in the El Vigilante section, heading to Mexico Cityinvolved three vehicles, one of which appeared to have made a sharp turn on its own axis.

The landscape from above, captured in live images from N+, revealed the magnitude of the event with visible frozen lanes heading to CDMX.

In the incident, it is noted that the rear of a gray car was destroyed in the collision, while its driver was quickly taken to a medical center for urgent care.

Elements of the Tlalnepantla Police, State of Mexico, arrived, deploying their emergency operation to alert drivers about the accident and divert traffic, in an effort to avoid further complications.

In turn, ambulances and rescue teams quickly moved to the site of impact to treat the injured and guarantee the safety of the area.

The arrival of emergency teams only contributed to aggravating the congestion, while minutes turned into hours of anguish for motorists trapped in the traffic jam in order to reach their destinations.
