What if we have five capitals?; Himanda mocks Kejriwal

by time news

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanda Biswa Sharma presented a new plan to end regional inequality. Himanda Biswa Sharma opined that by forming five national capitals, disparities among states will be removed. While the war of words between Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and Himanda continued on Twitter, Himanda made such a comment in a sarcastic reply.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has a habit of insulting other states in recent times. Instead of ridiculing economically and socially backward states, we should try to reverse the disease of inequality. What if we have five capitals for each region in India?’, Himanda tweeted, tagging Kejriwal.

‘When that happens, wealth will not accumulate only in the Delhi government. Moreover, with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are carrying out development activities in the fields of health, education, communication etc. Himanda wrote in another tweet.

Himanda claimed that the development of northeastern states was initiated by the Prime Minister in 2014 and now those states are on the path of progress. He added that the North-East region does not need anyone’s sympathy or abuse, it needs respect, resources and revival.

The war of words between Himanda and Kejriwal on Twitter started last week. After Kejriwal criticized Himanda’s decision to unify the schools in the state, the arguments between the two started on Twitter.
