The World Meteorological Organization complements this definition and adds that “this is a set of optical phenomena” and that it generally occurs in cold places such as Antarctica or Alaska or in the boreal areas of Russia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
This ring, which in some parts can be seen white and shiny and in others with the appearance of a rainbow, also indicates a humid and cold atmosphere. (You can read: Minambiente proposes changing rules for environmental licensing of renewable energies)

What do you see in the sky? ????☀️
It’s a #HaloSolar and is formed when sunlight refracts through ice crystals in the atmosphere, creating a unique optical spectacle. It happens in different corners of the world, but in Cali it looks warmer. ????#Cali pic.twitter.com/5kah2yTfPx
