On September 11, 2001, 19 men hijacked four American commercial airliners, killing a total of 2,997 people.

In the case of New York, the fall of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center (WTC) in lower Manhattan left 2,753 people dead.

The assassination of Salvador Allende occurred on September 11, 193
Finally, on September 11, 1973, Salvador Allende was assassinated after an attack in Chile.
This happened in the Independence Hall of La Moneda during Augusto Pinochet’s coup d’état.
And just before the takeover of La Moneda Palace by coup plotters, President Salvador Allende made his last address to the Chilean people on Radio Magallanes.
Then the artillery attack, bombing and infantry assault on La Moneda took place, because Salvador Allende rejected the offer of exile for himself and his family.
However, the official version of the Military Junta is that Salvador Allende was not actually assassinated, but rather committed suicide.
