Edappadi Palaniswami is currently holding consultations with his supporters at his Chennai residence as the verdict of the ADMK general committee case is being announced. Former ministers TKM Chinnaiah, Mukkur Subramanian, and Thalavai Sundaram have also attended the meeting. If the decision is positive, the General Secretary will immediately announce the election results and focus on strengthening the party. Palaniswami anticipates that supporters of OPS, Sasikala, and AAM MUK executives from other parties will also join their side. The attendees reportedly discussed focusing on appeal-related work immediately if the decision is negative. O. Panneer Selvam arrived in Chennai from Theni, and reporters asked him whether the verdict has been announced. He responded with a smile, saying that the decision is in their hands before leaving.
If the verdict is favourable, the General Secretary should immediately announce the result of the election and engage in the work of strengthening the party. Edappadi Palaniswami says that if the verdict is favourable, supporters of OPS, Sasikala and AAM MUK executives from other parties will also come to her side.
It is reported that it was discussed in the meeting that if it is against, then attention should be given to the work related to the appeal immediately.
O. Panneer Selvam arrived in Chennai from Theni last night (March 27). He first came to Madurai from Theni and from there reached Meenambakkam airport by plane. Then the reporters asked him whether the verdict in the General Committee and General Secretary case is yet to be announced.
