New Delhi: There has been a tremendous increase in the annual salary of Sunil Bharti Mittal, chairman of Bharti Airtel, one of the largest telecom companies in the country. His salary increased by 92 percent to Rs 32.27 crore in the financial year 2023-24. It was Rs 16.72 crore in the financial year 2022-23. This increase is Rs 15.50 crore. Sunil Bharti Mittal’s salary and allowances in the financial year 2023-24 were Rs 21.5 crore. In this, Rs 7.5 crore was performance linked incentive (PLI) and Rs 3.1 crore was as perquisites i.e. additional allowances. At the same time, Mittal’s salary and allowances in the financial year 2022-23 were Rs 10 crore. In this, Rs 4.5 crore was performance linked incentive and Rs 2.2 crore was as perquisites.
