In that situation, Indian player Ravichandran Ashwin responded by saying that it is impossible for them to boycott the World Cup held in India even though Pakistan protested against India in this matter. He said that if the World Cup is ignored, Pakistan will be further isolated and the share money due from the ICC will be lost.
In this case, even though we have emotionally expressed that we should not go to India, considering the current economy, it will be the right decision to go to India and play Pakistan, said the chairman of the selectors Sahit Afridi.
