This Tuesday (15), the councilors of the Capital will decide whether to maintain or overturn the mayor Adriane Lopes (PP)’s veto to the project to allow the use of skateboards, skates and scooters in park courts.
When the bill was vetoed by the mayor, it was alleged that the situation was not feasible from a technical point of view, considering that multi-sports courts are not recommended for the practice of these sports.
Based on an opinion from Funesp (Fundação Municipal de Esporte), Adriane mentions that the courts must be preserved for the sports they use, such as basketball, tennis, volleyball, futsal, among others.
