What should the wedding invitation look like? – BLUSH WEDDING DECOR

by time news

Here we come to my favorite part, the design! Because I approach weddings as a complete concept – this includes everything that is “seen” at a wedding, i.e. all visual elements: flowers, decor, furniture, textiles, printed graphic materials; that’s why I think it’s very important to display the color scheme, style, and theme in which the big day will shine right from the invitation. The style of the invitation should reflect the kind of wedding you want, because this way the entire wedding will be harmonious and complete.

If the wedding will take place in an elegant castle, the colors, paper and typography of the invitation should reflect this! Cream colors, embossing (gilding), letterpress, satin ribbon, elegantly classic fonts can come.

If your wedding is based on a theme, for example Great Gatsby, then you can use Art Deco and geometric patterns, fringes and so on.

I do not recommend creating an invitation that is too different from the style and atmosphere of the wedding venue, as this could send the wrong message to your guests. Since the guests receive this for the first time, they (also) get an idea of what kind of celebration they should be preparing for. You wouldn’t want everyone to arrive at your rustic barn wedding in high heels and long evening dresses, would you? ????

Of course, I help all my couples in choosing and fine-tuning the style of the invitation, as this is also part of the wedding concept design service I provide.
